Well, thank goodness the cold weather is past us. It is now getting warmer but we have the wind to contend with for a couple of months.

Sister Langkilde and I went to the Monticello Temple on Saturday March 26th. I was able to get two Syberg names done that I have had for more than a year that got misplaced.

We stopped on the way back and split a prime rib dinner at Millwood Junction Restaurant in Mancos Colorado. It is becoming one of our favorites stopping spots.

We listened to General Conference in our 5th wheel and really enjoyed the talks.
We are still going to Dulce, the home of the Jicarilla Apache Indian Reservation on Sundays and Wednesdays. The Branch President is an attorney and has had to be gone a lot, so we have been doing double duty so to speak. On Wednesday nights we have been having game activity and genealogy instruction. Its really interesting work dealing with the Indian genealogical issues. They have some great stores. For example, one brother told of seeking some names at the Family History Center in Farmington, but wasn't having much luck and on his way home his grandmother appeared to him and told him to go back! He did, and did some more research, finding her name and was subsequently able to do her work in the Denver Temple.

We went to Dulce for Church Sunday Janelle's birthday and come home the back way through the mountains, seeing ghost towns and the old railroad that was put in during the late 1800's.
Most everyone called her and she appeared to have a great day, even blew out one candle (match stick) on a left over cake.
Monday the 18th we celebrated her birthday in the office. Again it was fun, we are always having fun.
Joseph our son who lives in Las Vegas brought his eight year old daughter Hannah over to Farmington for her baptism.

What a special day. Irene and her family came from Salt Lake City,

Jared and his family came from Mesa.

Marcene came with her children.

Joseph's wife's parents, the Jackson's and one of their daughter and husband also come from Snowflake too.

We had a BBQ at the park Saturday afternoon cooking hotdogs, sirloin beef and buffalo steak.

The baptism was at 6pm and everyone made it on time.

After the baptism we gave everyone a tour of the office and then had refreshments and chatted.

Elder and Sister Langkilde fixed a wonderful pancake and bacon breakfast before everyone except Irene and family who stayed one more day. It was Steve and Irene's anniversary so Elder and Sister Langkilde was able to babysit while they went out to dinner. Afterwords we played Rumakub.

We had made arrangements to use the AP house which has about six bunk beds, and lots of mattresses for everyone. It was fun having everyone together and visiting with one another. Elder Langkilde was able to get one more back scratch from his grandchildren too, for a price!
